When I was six I built the first kite with my father. That’s how the story begins…
We moved on to constructing wooden and plastic model aeroplanes, painting them, but always everything was connected to flying.
But just after my studies a friend of mine, Greg, mentioned on my birthday party that he’s a paragliding pilot…
The very next weekend I took a holiday in the mountains where I completed a course and received my licence…

I’m a professional graphic designer, but this is not important here.
What’s far more relevant is that flying is my obsession…
At school, I was a hothead focusing a lot on geology, topography, maps, etc. I was even the chairman of the geographical society at school, which largely involved a group of us running around the city with compasses seeking out azimuths ;)
Once even we learned how to measure time from stars etc. :)
Later, I studied meteorology for three years as part of engineer environmental university.
I now use all of this accumulated knowledge about holistic global effects, weather action-reaction, connections and results in nature, all of it during my flights. Because it’s also my passion…
Experience is super important in the air but knowledge gives you opportunities to extend it.

So I’m FAI licensed pilot since 2010 (IPPI4 -held by Aeroclub of Poland).
I’ve been living in Asia for the last few years and keeping myself active even in my spare time, by travelling around and looking for new take-off sites.
Almost same important as flying is exploring new places, meeting new pilots, friends and awesome people. It’s great to share time with them, have fun and listen to their stories…
Life is great!
